Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
It's the week before Christmas and all through the city; everyone was stirring even the kitty. Well; all of a sudden there was such a clatter as vehicles crashed and many were scattered. And all of sudden who should appear; eight large wreckers to make the way clear and an ambulance with medics who really cared! They checked all the people no injuries at all; transportation was provided to a huge Christmas Ball where there was dancing and food; and an appearance by Santa........
I invite everyone to add to my story????
Merry Christmas form PIEERE!

.......RV's were lined up from Vegas to Atlanta.
....
As dry leaves flutter when RVs pass by,
Then meet a wind gust and mount to the sky.
So thru the campground gate the Rvs they did roll,
With the rigs full of gear, adventure the goal.
And then in a moment, I heard at the door,
The knocking and chatting of friends back for more.
As I drew back from the window, turning back in,
There was Santa nearby the fridge, holding my gin.
He was dressed all casual, jeans and a hoodie,
His clothes were soiled dribbling crumbs from our goodies.
A bundle of stuff lay all over the floor,
And yet, back to the fridge he went to score.
His eyes... they were all glazed, time for a snooze,
It's what happens when you drink all of my booze.
His droll little mouth was drawn up in a curl,
I knew in an instant he was about to hurl.
The rim of a shot glass he held to his lip,
He downed it all, not missing a drip.
With a broad sloppy smile and a big wide gut,
That gurgled, when he belched and spit up a nut.
He was chubby and plump, a big fat bum
And I cried when I saw him, gone was my rum.
A wink of his eye, a tap to his nose,
All of my private stock, there it goes.
He spoke a not a word, and went straight to his task,
Filled all the stockings, he had overlooked my flask.
At least with good intentions is what he meant,
And giving a nod, out the rig door he went.
He sprang to his truck, its engine roared to life,
And away he flew, leaving ruts like a knife.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out the gate,
Merry Christmas, dibs next year on site twenty eight.

And now as we approach the New Year,
It's time to restock spirits and be of good cheer,
So off to the liquor store I go,
Being thankful to be in a land of no snow.
