Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have a friend that is considering buying a new Sports Coach. Another dealer said they are an entry level motorhome. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with this brand? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
Sportscoach is entry level, but seems to work OK for those who are not fulltimers. I have chatted with owners a couple times, mostly because they often have wild exterior colors, and they were happy. I have not encountered any fulltimers I can remember with a Sportscoach, except the really old ones before Coachman took them over. Looking at the new ones on Coachman's website, I am bothered that it only has a 12,000 lb front axle on a 40' diesel pusher. Most 40' DPs have at least 13,200 lb front axles, because the 12,000 ones are easily overloaded.

definitely entry model diesel pusher. Pretty reasonable price for what u get verses a tiffin or newmar etc but definately built cheaply for sure 12000lb front axle is fine for a unit as lite as they build these units. its only got a little 340HP Isb it only has a GROSS rating of 33K and hitch rate of 5K
you take a 4 slide 41 ft unit with a 340HP ISB its only capable of hauling XX
number of lbs etc pretty much a slug on mountain passes
My 40ft AB weighs as much empty as this one does at max allowed load(33K) and my FA is 14600
