Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Looking to see if anyone has put this system on the RV and the results of it. I'm looking at next April just before the rally having it done on our 5'er. Met 1 guy who had it installed and has over 40k miles with no issues at all he loves it. Thx for any feedback you might have. Chris.

Safe travels to all, Take each day as a gift for that is truly what it is.
If you do a search of the forum for "Morryde" I think you'll find quite a few related threads. Our 5ver came equipped with the IS suspension and we've been very happy with it.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Howard and Linda added an IS suspension to their rig and were very pleased with the results. If you can figure out a way to do a search of Howard's journal I'm pretty sure that he included details of the conversion there. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to do it. Maybe someone else will be able to help.

Chris:
Between two different trailers, I have 115,000 miles of experience with the IS.Put one on the first trailer and the quality was daylight and dark after getting rid of the springs – even with the shock absorber system between the springs there was a great improvement.
I recommend having MOR/ryde do the installation in Elkhart at the MOR/ryde factory. (Good time to have the tires upgraded to "H" tires as well for safety and mileage.)
Wouldn’t have a trailer without an IS.PM me if you want more info and contacts.
Yes, Howard put on an IS sometime after we did and they are very pleased with the system based on posts and conversation with He and Linda. (They also upgraded to the "H" tires as well.)
In 2007 we had the Morryde IS installed on our ordered DRV Elite Suite. It was our first trailer and it was pretty much trouble free (the trailer was not but that's another story). We did feel that it was a bit bouncy so we booked an appointment with Mor ryde to check it out. They indicated that all was good and the bounce was a compromise as the trailer was very heavy.(20K). In the 4 years we owned it the alignment never went out and we never had a problem. In 2011 we bought a 5er with standard springs and axles. This one does have fairly regular alignment problems but as far as I can tell the ride is the same as the IS. If I was ordering again, I would specify the IS but I'm not sure I would ever spend the time and money to upgrade an existing trailer with springs and axles. That's my opinion.
We got the IS from MoRryde put on our 5th wheel when it was new. We felt strongly it was a good investment for our RV. It rides beautifully, DH says he can't even tell it's back there when he pulls it.
Wouldn't own a fifth wheel for full-timing without the MORryde IS suspension. Smoother ride for the trailer and contents, and more importantly, less stress on the frame. Just visited them last week for a system inspection and wrote an updated post for those interested. MORryde Visit
We have had Mor/Ryde IS on 5 trailers in 15 years. Three of those trailers were custom and I could have had any suspension I wanted: air ride, Kelderman, etc. I chose M/R. IMO for a towable there is no finer suspension on the market.

I have an appointment with MorRyde the end of July to have the MorRyde IS Suspension and Disc Brakes installed on my 5th Wheel prior to spending the first week of August in Shipshewana IN at the Redwood National Rally.
We have a great turnout this year for the Redwood Rally, I believe the last count was 96 Redwoods attending.
As others have said the I/S is a great upgrade. I would also recommend the disc brakes at the same time as I feel they are one of the best investments you can make, especially with the heavier trailers.
I just had MorRyde install the IS Suspension and Disc Brakes on my Redwood last week.
Have not pulled it very far yet (about 15 miles) as I only moved from the MorRyde facility in Elkhart IN to the Shipshewana South CG for the Redwood Rally this next week.
In just the short trip I can already tell the difference in ride and stopping, looking forward to my move to Dallas TX in a week.
The MorRyde system is a great product and all the people I met while at MorRyde whether shop personnel, office personnel or management staff were all great.
What is the gross vehicle weight rating on your trailer? I was also wondering if you had decided to later upgrade to the Mor/ryde IS at the time you purchased your trailer? These are a couple decisions I will be facing.
The Gross Weight Rating of my Front Living Redwood is 16,500 lbs., actual weight is approx. 16,850 lbs. the last time I had it weighted. I have had some major life changes this year which has impacted my actual weight so now that all the suspension updates are done I am going to get it weighted again this week at the Redwood Rally here in Shipshewana IN.
I really had not decided to upgrade to the MorRyde IS at the time of purchase of the trailer, many things have happened since then that have impacted my decision to make the change to the MorRyde IS.
My original plan was to just do a disk brake upgrade at this time but after some long thought I decided to go head and do the MorRyde IS and Disc Brakes at the same time.
