Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We will be picking up our 2015 Newmar. Bay Star next week. Very exciting new chapter for us. I have picked up a lot of great info from this site! I'm sure it will save my hide many times in the future.
Congrats on your purchase - VERY exciting indeed!! We are about 150 miles north of you and, if all goes as planned, are going to be following in your footsteps in about a year and a half. This site has been a fantastic source of information to make that exciting but a little frightening step a little easier to take. See you on the road!!!
Welcome from another northern Illinoisan. We're still just under 4 years out. Nice rig, we were looking at some Newmars last night on the web. Let the good times roll!

Well I have to chime in here too, as I am another Illinoisan! Another Northern Illinoisan - aka - Chicago suburbs. Not a fan of a big city but working on getting on the road as well! We're more than 5 years out and that's okay!!
Welcome!! I'm not too familiar with motorhomes, but I just googled it and it looks very nice!! So, if you don't mind sharing where are you headed first?
Allow a transplanted Okie to welcome you to the RV Dreams forum "family." I'm sure you have already learned a lot from the folks here, as well as the rest of Howard and Linda's website, but I keep telling folks that this lifestyle is a never ending process of learning. Now that you've registered as an active member, be sure and check back often and feel free to ask questions if you need to. We've been living full time in our Mobile Suites for over 4 years now, and I'm still learning.
Terry
