Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Thousand Trails - Tall Chief question

I know there are several of you that are TT members.  We stayed at Tall Chief last summer and it appears next spring / summer / fall we're likely to be in and out of that park multiple times due to my work situation.  The park is an Encore park but had a TT sign and several of you have mentioned it being a TT park.

When I was looking at the TT website, Tall Chief is not listed as one of the parks.  I called the park directly and was told that for it to be included in my TT membership, I needed to buy the TT membership through the park representative.  Is that true?  I was hoping to take advantage of the "buy one zone, get the second free".  Tall Chief is the primary reason I'm considering buying a TT membership, it is the closest RV park to my work location.  If it's not included, it's really not worth it financially for us.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can share.

it is not a TT park but members get a discount when they stay there. Encore is a separate company but is affiliated.

Tall Chief is currently not listed in the Northwest Zone or on my TT Elite membership.

We go in there under Coast-2-Coast. I believe RPI also has it as one of their 'affiliate' parks. Both are $10/night for a week. What they were looking to sell you isn't a zone membership, but a regular TT membership with Tall Chief as the 'home' park - it is kind of a weird thing they are doing with that park, which would give you 2 or 3 weeks at a time in that park, plus 2 or 3 weeks in other TT parks. Did they quote you a price? Would be interesting to see what it is.
