Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
As South Dakota domiciled RVers, we use America's Mailbox in Box Elder, SD. Before full timing we used St. Brendan's Isle in Green Cove Springs, IA; it's good for Florida domiciled folk. Escapees has options for Texas domiciled full-timers and for South Dakota.

Look closely at thier capabilities. Some will scan the front of each envelope when it arrives and email yourself that you have mail. You can then go online and see what has arrived. This is very convenient for knowing what is important and what is not. When you view the envelope you have to option to hold it for later shipment, sent it now, shred it, or open it and scan the contents to you. There is an extra charge for scanning contents but can come in very handy.
So check several out and decide what level of service you need.

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. You'll find a lot of folks here with knowledge about RV's and the RV lifestyle. This is one of the best RV forums for friendliness and helpfulness.
Up in the blue bar above the forums categories is a "Search" function. That can be used to find a lot of answers, but when reading a comment, look to the date of the posting in the area to the left of the message under the forum participant's avatar and user name. Some comments from "way-back" may not be valid anymore, depending on changes since that time.
Also, when starting a new thread, be aware that there are numerous categories with different subjects. Try to put any threads in an appropriate category. A lot of folks seldom look at the top five categories as they may be comments from way back.

Welcome Tracy. You mentioned in your introduction that you were going to setup in Texas for the winter. You might check to see if you can use the RV park's address for the important stuff until you figure out a longterm plan, it would buy you some time while you research. That is what we are doing but we will be stationary for a while longer. We also have a POBox nearby that gets the junk mail. The downside to this suggestion is that when you finally do select a mail service you can't just forward your mail to the service otherwise you will get ALL of the mail for the RV park. You have to notify each sender individually. One thing we have noticed since selling the house and getting rid of all of our stuff is that we have a lot less mail than we used to, YAY!
This is just a thought. It's working for us now but time will tell if it ends up being a pain when we do start moving.
