Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I know there's a search feature here on the forum, which I really appreciate. Is there a way to also search on the Blog for RV Dreams? Ex. I remembered that Howard and Linda had boondocked in the Borrego Springs area so I was trying to locate those posts. I was thinking it was Dec of 2011 and it turned out to be Jan of 2013 and I did find it, eventually. However, I don't always have a lot of time to search through old posts and was wondering if there was a better way to search.
I discovered H&Ls blog and therefore this site by googling RV centric search questions. One was a hit from one of their early blog posts... I started reading and the rest is history.
Just now I tried "Borrego Springs Rv-Dreams journal" and got several hits to their blog posts.... including the Jan2013.
Maybe that is what will speed your journal search.
Just a thought.

There use to be a search fucntion on the journal, but it never worked well. I noticed he removed the search box. When I asked Howard about it, he suggested I just google the topic followed by RV-Dreams Journal.
For example... Borrego Springs RV-Dreams Journal
It works and gets you to the info you are looking for much quicker:o))
Yes, the Search function that was on the Journal never quite worked right so I removed it recently. Typically, if you just do a Google search (or any other browser) and type in
rv-dreams ____________
with the blank being a key word or phrase you are looking for, you will usually find it. That's how I do it to search my own stuff.
