Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Suggestions for camping in Las Vegas area in November.

We're planning to travel from Ma. to Las Vegas for family visits in November. Probably staying a month or so and would like suggestions for nice quiet parks in the area.

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

We were there for 3 weeks last spring, and stayed in the RV Village at Lake Meade National Recreation Area. They had nice FHU sites, although they don't like to let you have a site overlooking the water when you are staying that long. Not exactly cheap (I think we paid about $800 for 3 weeks), but they may have a monthly rate that's better. It's definitely a quiet area, and close to nice biking and hiking. Boulder City has just about everything you could need, and the strip is only about a 20-30 minute drive, depending on traffic.

You should definitely check out Valley of Fire outside of Lake Mead Recreation Area. It would be a great place to stay for a few nights.

If you're thinking of staying near the strip, we're in LVM (Las Vegas Motor coach resort. Very quiet, lots of room, trees between each lot and gated.

Best place we found is Nevada Treasure in Pahrump. Less than $400 per month. About 30/45 minutes from Vegas

The Oasis RV Park is very nice and close to grocery stores and shopping. Easy access in and out close to the strip and the Southpoint Hotel.
