Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Can't begin to tell you how anxious we are to get on the road. Happy for all of you that have hit the pavement!!!! We'll be following you soon. Say a little prayer!!! Take care, stay safe and happy trails!

Some houses sell quickly and Otha take a while. Doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason. But it will happen!

I can feel your pain. We were hoping to have our house on the market and sold by now, but because of an unplanned trip out of town for about 6-8 weeks everything has been on a temporary hold. We are now hoping to get the house on the market late June or early July with a quick sell to follow. If everything works out right then we will be purchasing, or ordering, our new coach around August or September. Hang in there and hope to see you down the road in the near future.

It's really hard to be patient! While we were fortunate to sell our house quickly and ahead of schedule, we are now waiting for the final warranty work to be completed on the motorhome. We're supposed to hit the road on Wednesday but parts aren't in yet

We're determined to relax and be flexible, but oh how we want to just get out there next week!!!

Hang in there - it WILL happen

Hoping for a quick sale. We were blessed with a really quick sale after a bit of a bidding war, but then had 3 different delays in closing so that drug the process out a bit.

I still think that all the delays / problems we had with our truck order, getting the 5th wheel home, having to get the fridge repaired as soon as we got it home, all of which lead to delays in getting the house on the market, and then the closing delays helped prepare us mentally for all the challenges / delays we faced in the first few months on the road. We (or maybe that's mostly I) had to learn patience and learn to be flexible as plans changed again and again. I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was agonizing.
