Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I guess we are officially Part-Timing right now!

So we've moved into the Fiver in a park outside of town, our house goes on the market next week - we are living in the Fiver while getting the house ready to sell.  Although we don't actually hit the road until October - we are now 110% living in our Fiver - and having a ball!  So thus - we are "part-timing" LOL.  It will be even better when I can get the satellite working!  Stupid Hopper with sling, can't make it work - got the solo coming today.  Grr.

Other than the copious amounts of rain we are experiencing here in North Texas, we are really happy and excited to start this portion of our adventure!

On the down side of it all, I have two of my "babies" (Tibbies) that we have to put down tomorrow.  They are brother and sister, both 16 years old - would be 17 in November.  She has seizures that are getting worse and worse, he is getting to the point where he is falling down all the time.  Horrible timing, I soooo wanted them to start this adventure with us.  I will not be myself while going through all of this, but trying to keep my head up and remind myself what I'm doing is the best thing for them.

Just sent my Pepper to the Rainbow Bridge on February 9th. she would have been 16 on June 1st. I miss her every day. She was the greatest little traveler, and always wanted to "go"...it was her favorite word. Sorry for your loss Pat K

Thank you Pat.  Leon & Shelby crossed the rainbow bridge together today - they went out as they came in, together.  I'm so very sorry for your loss of your beloved Pepper.  It's such a horrific loss.  And I've gone through the loss of a spouse...but something about fur babies that depend on us for everything, it's just so very hard.
