Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello to all my old friends and hope to meet you soon to the new ones!
it's been a crazy few years as some of you know😳
The short version to catch up...
- Survived breast cancer
- Met a great guy
- adopted a 5 year old ****er spaniel named Chuy
- Built a house in Retama Village in Mission TX with said great guy
- Married great guy -- Jeff -- and am now known as Carol Kerr Welch
- Mentioned maybe looking for an interim RV until we can retire in a few years last week.
-  Went RV shopping today... 😄
We didn't buy anything but closer than I thought we were. Â So now that we're back in the RV world I thought it was time to stop back by. Â I missed you all but just was busy with all things non-RV for a while there.
i think we're looking for a travel trailer we can pull with our current truck which means less than 8000 lbs. loaded. Â We want something for weekends at the beach, trips to Austin and maybe an occasional week trip to Big Bend. Â The current leading contender is a Jayco WhiteHawk 28RBKS.
really excited to reconnect and have an rv again. Â In the meantime, we live in an RV friendly community -- or maybe RV focused is more accurate and we LOVE company!
Carol, Jeff and ChuyÂ
