Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Everyone! I just finished participating in my first RV Dreams Rally and it was AWESOME! The educational Rally in Sevierville, TN brought together so many wonderful folks and I learned more than my brain has had time to comprehend.
I'm Desmond. I am solo and do not have an RV at this time, but am very much looking forward to the day when I can make it work. I have done some travel staffing work as a Physical Therapist Assistant, currently live in CA and will be heading to OR in the next couple of months once my license is approved.
While I have numerous questions about moving forward with my decision to purchase an RV, my mind is just spinning right now, so I'll have to get to that step in the near future.
I hope you are all well and I pray you will be blessed with good health, prosperity and safe travels.
My wife and I are looking forward to attending a rally someday - soon we hope. I had read there were more people at the rally who did not own an RV than those that did. That will be us someday.
Keep asking questions here and you can get some more sense of what you learned. Folks are always willing to share their knowledge. You can learn something new almost every time.
Welcome, Desmond! You can learn a lot from reading the posts on here, both new and old. I am also not a full timer yet. I do have an RV and am also looking forward to the day that my dream can come true.
I really enjoyed meeting you, too, Desmond. You are such a fun, bubbly person and I greatly enjoyed your company! I hope we meet again down the road some day.
