Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV campgrounds and parks

Do any of you buy campground/RV parks directories or did they come with your discount memberships? I have a lot of phone apps but I think I'd like to have hard copies of directories too. Thanks to all....Stay safe and happy trails!

Remember, by the time the printing is done the paper directories are at least 6 months out of date. About every other year we do pick up a new Good Sam directory, but this will probably be the last year as so much is now online that I very seldom look at it. We've been using Allstays, PPA, & RVparkreviews as our go to online sources (Allstays & PPA have their own apps) that I use on my iPhone as we are going down the road. And most of the times the Allstays has the list of discounts that apply and then I just check Escapees or Good Sam's to verify.

We have the PPA book and I thought we would use it. Not yet. Even when looking for a spot to stop while driving, we have just used the Allstays or Campendium apps. Our Benchmark maps have campgrounds listed so in those states we would have that as backup I suppose.

Interested to see if anyone uses a different resource

Is that ever a good site!

...it shows campground icons on a map for each of the Provence's in Canada!

Thanks!

That phone app sounds pretty good!

...I wouldn't have to be paying for the internet while traveling!

I really don't know what I'm going to do yet. - Internet or no internet. - I'm getting fed up with having to pay higher and higher prices for Internet!

Well, if I decide to go 'no internet', I'll have ALLWAYS for $10.

What is it!? - Do you download the whole site into your laptop?

I don't have a phone.
