Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Newbie - Getting ready to hit the road

Just wanted to introduce myself - my husband and I will be hitting the road in October to go full timing.  We've spent the past year preparing and getting ready for our new adventure - and we are soooo excited.  We have our Fiver picked out - will probably purchase it by June or July - first stop - Colorado - where my heart is.  Grateful for this site - I've been lurking for a while taking in everything I can...

Thanks so much for the welcome! As for our rig - we are going with a Fiver - after MUCH going back and forth! Either the Forest River Heritage Glen or Prime Time - love both of them More than likely the FR - but the Prime Time is FOR SURE our backup :)

Cool. Welcome aboard. What make and model fiver do you have in mind? Have you picked out your tow vehicle yet?

We actually have two picked out just "in case" LOL - Forest River Heritage Glen or the Prime Time.  As for the tow vehicle - looking at the Ram 3500 duly.  Can't WAIT to get this thing going!
