Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New to site - hoping to be full-time soon

Hello Everyone,

we are true newbies but very anxious to learn and get started. We are registered for the Educational Rally at the end of this month & hope to get many questions answered plus make many new friends. Thanks in advance for putting up with all our questions.

Bruce & Janette Martin

Howdy Howdy Bruce & Janette,

So happy to have you folks join the RV Dreams Family. Most of us on this site can easily remember the feeling of excitement that you folks are feeling @ this newbee-beginning stage. It's almost like your first Crush on the best looking girl/guy in school. The newbee experience takes over almost every thought & plan until the dream comes true. Enjoy !

Good to meet you Bruce & Janette.  We are planning for our retirement to an RV and have found this to be the best forum out of all of them.  I've also started going into the chat room where I'm finding all kinds of full-timers willing to help.  The other night I had some real simple questions and was worried they were to basic to be asking or had been discussed on the forums.  The entire group of people chatted - ask away.  They were very willing to help.

Hope you are able to take time to post in the forums so I can learn from you as well.

Welcome Bruce & Janette. When I first found this forum, and H & L's journal and other pages (highly recommended reading), I lurked around here for several months absorbing much info and coming away with a warm fuzzy that the folks were friendly and more than willing to help others learn etc. So ask away.

We will be attending a rally some time in the foreseeable future also (probably spring 2017) prior to our kick-off date (TBD) and I envision that we'll have a blast actually meeting some of the fine folks we've communicated with on the forum and via PMs and email. You've joined a great family and community of likeminded enthusiasts that come from diverse backgrounds and all seeking or living a variety of RV Dreams.  Let the good times roll!smile
