Visitor just rinsed a dirty diaper in the SHOWER!!

I wouldn't be too worried about it, but if you're concerned, dump some bleach down the shower drain and I would think that it'll kill any bacteria in the gray tank.

I'm sure others will respond that have had something similar happen.

You never did that at home with your kids? There was no way to dunk baby and diaper in toilet - much easier to use the shower and clean both at the same time. It all goes down the drain and once cleaned, what's the problem? Or try having diarrhea while undergoing chemo - sometimes you have no choice as a grown-up but to clean up in the shower. Or have a relative with a colostomy - can remember cleaning shower after grandpa finished - - just another job to do. It goes down the drain, you clean the shower/tub, and life goes on. Relax, breathe, if that is the worse you encounter in your life you're lucky.

If you dont drink or cook with the water out of the grey tank you should be ok.........besides....who was the last one to pee in the shower ?

Even though I use a liner when the cats' litter box is in the shower, once in a while there's a mistake. It's not a big deal, whatever went in is going to drain out. Don't worry. And, as Lucky Mike said, what else has gone down that drain...?

BTW, we were missing you, Mike.

ok, ok, lol, I just wanted to be sure the grey tank didn't have any special care and feeding instructions of which I wasn't yet aware.

As for chemo, I have had my own thanks and just lost my husband after six months of intensive chemo----sadly I am all too familiar with those issues--just not in my rv.

Mike I too am glad you weren't buried in snow this winter!

I'll also chime in with good wishes to Mike. Glad to see he's back along with his sense of humor still intact.

As for the grey tank and poo, the addition of the bleach will take care of all that, plus anything that still might be solid will liquify in the water that remains in the tank. Our grey tank gets a dose of some bleach every couple of weeks, because my dentist told me to bleach my dentures every couple of weeks or so. Life is much better with bleached dentures.

I wanted to put a urinal in a house we had and my wife didn't want to. She said they smelled bad. I told her it didn't necessarily smell bad just because it got peed in.
She said it would too. I said "That's not true the shower doesn't smell like pee does it?" She said "No but you don't pee in the shower..... DO YOU?"

Nothing like toilet humor to take the edge off everthing else! biggrin Whenever the day comes that I make the formal introduction with some of the folks on this thread, I'm going to visions of dirty diapers and bleach soaked dentures..... my eyes!
