Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
A big Hello to everyone at RV Dreams. This is Steve, of Steve and Liz. I spent 35 years in law enforcement before retiring in 2009. Liz and I ended up in Brunswick, GA on the coast and we really like it here. We started Rv'ing in October of last year when we purchased a 27' TT that we have put about 5000 miles on traveling in the Southeast and up into the Midwest. We are really having trouble staying out of it and have another trip planned in April that will take us through 10 states and over 2000 miles part of which will be the RV Dreams Rally. We are really looking forward to it. In January of this year, for a multitude of reasons, we decided to work towards traveling full time starting in 2016. So we are just getting started, and we look forward to sharing our adventure and learning from all of you who have gone before us.
I just started a blog to chronicle our trials and tribulations, mainly for family and friends, but would welcome you all visiting it. You can learn more than you want to know about us on it. This is my first attempt at a blog and am just learning the software so all I ask is for you to keep that in mind when viewing it. I also do amateur photography and I will attach a link to that too. You can just check out the slide show for a sample.
Congrats on a well written blog. It will be even more fun to write when you hit the road. Keep up the good work, it makes it easier on your family to know where you are and what it means to you to be on this adventure.
Enjoy it all.

Congratulations on your decision! I must warn you though, attending an RV-Dreams rally my throw your plans into overdrive. Wednesday marked our 3 year anniversary on the road and I must say it has been wonderful. Steve and I attended the spring rally in 2011 and left a year earlier than planned. Don't let the stress get to you. Just keep your eyes focused ahead.
We'll be following your blog. Good luck!

Welcome aboard Steve and Liz. I was looking through some of your Blog and Pic's. Nice coach you have there.
Thanks for all the welcoming responses. We are really looking forward to the adventures, both in new places and new faces. We love all our old friends but hope to make lots of new ones too. Trailerking that coach you see in the blog is one we are hoping to eventually get this Fall. Sometimes things don't work out as planned, but that's our goal.

We also live in the D.C. area and I have been involved in law enforcement for 34 years. We plan to leave D.C. in December '15, and will then head out on our travels as well, but first have to purchase our DP. Look forward to meeting you guys along the way.
