Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New to Forum

hi all, Richard and Jean here. We both retired just over a year ago. Have been toying with the idea of full time rv living, and are ready to jump in! Cann't wait to meet new people on this next journey of our lives!

Greetings! Welcome aboard, poppy!

Have you decided what type of full-time lifestyle suits you (and Jean) best? In other words, envision yourself full-timing. Where will you be going and what will you be doing? How long will you be staying between stops? What roads will you be travelling on? Do you like remote boondocking, or prefer full hookups and the company or others over the wilderness experience? The answers to these questions will help you select your ideal FTing rig. The full-timing experience is different for everyone and is what you decide to make it. Having decided on a mobile lifestyle, the world is now your oyster. You just need to ask yourself do you prefer your oyster raw, grilled, fried, stewed or a combination?

Welcome to the group!  There are many of us on here that headed out last year.  Some younger, some older, some retired, some still working.  They can give you some ideas of what it's been like during the first year.

Welcome Richard and Jean! We are newbies here too and looking at going full-time this summer. This is a great site and don't be afraid to ask questions. I ask newbie questions all the time and always get honest, straight-forward answers.
