Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Two years ago we purchased a pair of rotochoks to stop the movement of the trailer when parked. They worked like a charm and we were very happy with them.
Until ...
the distance between the tires has changed recently (due to some work on the frame and the suspension). The choks are too big now. They still fit between the tires and hold the trailer perfectly, but there is much more movement noticeable in the trailer than before. Therefore I'd like to replace the plates or get new suitable rotochoks.
But it looks like Rotchok, Inc. is out of business. Phone numbers don't work. Emails get no response. Does anybody know if there is any other source of rotochoks?
If Rotochok is gone for good, what other wheelchoks can you recommend?
Bernd

Right now, we aren't near our trailer to see what our brand is, but I used the term "between wheel chocks" on a web browser. X-Chock is one name that comes up, and it looks like Camping World has some of them on their website.
X-Chock even has one model at Camping World's website that says it is extended.
The X-Chock looks a lot like the one we have, but again, I don't remember exactly which one we have.
Edit: OK. I don't know what it is with that first link. It fails to go to the search results at Camping World for the "between wheel chock" phrase. I've tried to change it three times now, and it still isn't working right. You'll have to type that search phrase in yourself at that search function on the page that comes up.

When did you try to contact them? They might have limited office hours especially with all the winter storms moving thru.
The other issue might be that the RotoChocks themselves are made in China and are waiting to be unloaded on the west coast. 10's of thousands of containers are currently stacked on ships.

well I tried each of the last four days, including today. The 1-800 number is a dead end. Same with the number for Canadian Customers. I used the contact form on the website and got no response either.
I hope they are just closed for the winter, the product is simply excellent and I really would like to get new fitting Rotochoks before switching to another brand.
@Terry: I am aware of the X-choks. They would be my choice if Rotochoks are nowhere to find.

oh, that sounds interesting. I need to get the measurement between the trailer tires (sitting in storage right now). I will need one of the smallest they make (made?). I think the distance will be 1 1/2 inch or even less. Our wheels are 16".
What's the distance between the tires you put the Rotochoks in? Your wheelsize?
If they fit our trailer I would be interested in buying them.

Called viprv.com this morning. They have Rotochoks in stock, but only the 'petite' which are too small for our trailer. Connection was poor and broke down after a while, so I couldn't ask about ordering other sizes. Will call again tomorrow.
I measured 3 1/4 " and 3 1/2 " distance between the tires of our trailer. The Rotochoks I have right now are size 'Large' for 4-5" distance between the tires. I would need the 'Medium large' which are for 3 1/4 - 4 " distance.
Actually the rim size doesn't matter except if it is 14" (ours are 16").
I also measured the plates of Rotochoks I have now. They are 7" on top, 4 3/4" at the bottom.

Called viprv.com again. They confirmed that Rotochok, Inc. is out of business.
I am looking for some used medium large Rotochoks now. The size is marked on the front off one plate. It should read 'ML'.
If there is anybody out there selling a pair of 'ML' Rotochoks, please send me a PM.
Thanks.
