Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Thanks to all of you for the thoughts, prayers, stories, emails, comments, and support during the last eight weeks. My mother's sudden decline due to lung cancer and eventual death on Dec 29, was one of the most difficult, most emotional times of my life and every piece of support helped in some way.
The last week or so, we've been catching up on our lives and getting back into the swing of things, and we spoke at the Knoxville - Smoky Mountain RV Show last weekend. Now we are in Dayton speaking this weekend at the Cincinnati - Dayton RV Show.
This morning I've gotten back onto the Forum for the first time in weeks and I'm pleased to see the continued activity and continued helpful attitudes. We've been promoting the Forum at the RV shows as the "friendliest RV Forum on the web", so you may see some new members in the coming days and weeks. We appreciate this community so much.
In the next couple of days, I'll be posting some updates on our upcoming rallies. We're working our way down the "Waiting List" for the Boondocking Rally next month, and we just worked a deal for some discounted lodging at some condos for the 2015 Spring Rally in Tennessee (details to come).
We know what you have gone through is very difficult. Glad to hear the healing process has started. Looking forward to meeting you and Linda in TN. After over 3 years of following the journal and forum I feel we know you already. Thank you for all you do and your willingness to share your thoughts and your life, which is an example to those who are still dreaming and those who are living it but still need encouragement and information.
