Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello, Robert.

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  However, as a fellow Okie, I'm surprised that you didn't say more about yourself and your hopes or plans for an RV'ing future.  I thought all of us Okies were really friendly and eager to get to know others.  That said, how about telling us more about you, your family, and your plans?

Terry

Hey Terry

I was studying all of the good information on RV-Dreams, I did not spend much time on the forum.

That being said I appreciate you asking about me.

I am a firefighter in Oklahoma, with about 2 years left, till retirement.

My wife and I are going to be fulltimers after that. We own a 43' Raptor, that we pull with a 2010 Ram Dually.

We have ATVs and travel around riding in the mountains. WV, NM, AR, TN, OK, KY, TX, LA.

That is cool, Robert.  Thanks for your service to your community.  Jo and I retired last June from the OSBI, so we are appreciative of all those that serve or have served in the military, law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS services.  We were raised up in the Oklahoma Panhandle and moved to the OKC area back in the late '80's, where we lived in OKC, Yukon, Edmond, Blanchard, and between Tuttle and Mustang.  After retirement, we moved up here to the Colorado Springs area and are in a place called Mountaindale Cabins and RV Resort, which is Southwest of Colorado Springs.

I noticed in your comment that you didn't list Colorado as a place you've ridden your ATV's.  We have a nephew that has a lifted Jeep Rubicon, and he loves to go off-road with that.  We've made a couple of day trips with him up here, and we saw some ATV's and off road motorcycles up on some of the "rough trails" off of Gold Camp Road.  The views up there were great.

Glad to have you as part of the forums.

Terry

Hey Terry

I don't know why we have not been to Colorado yet. Colorado is deffinatly on our list.

We too have a Rubicon. We are interested in finding RV resorts and long term campgrounds that accommodate ATVs.

I know there are a lot in Arizona.
