Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm excited for my friends who have reached the momentous decision to buy a park for themselves.
They've been full timing for many years and are ready to settle down but not ready to leave rvs behind.
So far they know they want mild weather, room for workshops and some animals, and a decent acreage.
Western North Carolina keeps coming back to the top of the list, so we're starting there but willing to consider other areas.
(their business plan calls for rvs and maybe home sites, as well as a full roster of workshops and events)
They've invited me to join them and help find appropriate places to go check out.
Of course I thought of you guys right away, who better to tap for info than rv'ers?
Any skinny you may know of about parks for sale or about to be for sale will be greatly appreciated.
As for budget, if the numbers work they have a very generous budget, less so if they have to build the business or do much in the way of site improvements.
thanks---we're using the computer to search and have found quite a few.
Thanks for the links to ones you know of which may not be advertised right now, that helps a ton!
so far they really like one in north Carolina southwest of Asheville, it seems to have plenty to offer---maybe we'll go tour it next month--what fun!
