Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Please add your favorite websites that you think would be helpful to newbies and veteran FTF's  ~>I am sure this may have been done already, but I thought in case it hasn't or it's been awhile, I would start another one ;)

This has lots for sale and lots for rent.  We found the place we stayed last winter on it and were very satisfied.

Thanks :)  We've moved all the mobile internet content to the new site however.  But we do have some useful stuff on the personal blog too.

(RVillage was already mentioned in the thread, so didn't want to repeat it. :) )

Seems we can't eat at a restaurant if they're not listed near the top.  And if there's not a picture of the front of the restaurant guess who has to add it...it's not me (I feel like the Health Inspector).

I will say the food has been good.

www.yelp.com for locating anything in your area, with customer reviews and comments

If we are going to mention finding restaurants, our favorite is http://www.urbanspoon.com/.  Less of the angst ridden crowd, less shill reviews and you can't pay them to hide bad reviews.  The mobile app is more useful than TripAdvisor or Yelp's, since it goes by distance or rating, instead of just rating.  I find that in different areas one of the review sites will have more places listed than the others.  It is best to check them all.  I have seen an area with 100 restaurants only have 20 rated on one of the sites, but that gets hidden if they just show you the ones with ratings.
