Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello. We are George & Nancy and we have been full timing since April 23, 2014. We started our journey from our former home state of Connecticut and headed to Oregon where we spent part of the summer. Later in the summer we travelled through Nevada and Utah. We are now in the Las Vegas area and will be traveling to Arizona and New Mexico before heading to Florida for the winter. Nancy is a jewelry artist and we built an art studio into our rig so she can continue her art on the road. We enjoy kayaking, biking and hiking. Full time living in an RV has offered unique challenges for us, but so far we love it. We have a Holiday Rambler motor home and tow a CR-V. I (George) have been lurking on this site for years. However, now that we are actually on the road, this seem like a perfect forum to discuss all matter related to living in an RV. So far we have not participated in RV-Dreams events; but, we hope to do so in the future. We look forward to meeting you in our travels. (We regularly post our location on RVillage, so let us know if you are nearby.)
Thanks for the warm welcome. I will create a signature. We will be starting our journey through Florida in the Jacksonville area around December 9 or 10 and will be in various parts of Florida until late April.
We will be out of Jacksonville by then, since we are staying two weeks at Hanna Park for Thanksgiving. Lucky Mike might be in St. Augustine, which is close, by then.
We will be in Wildwood and then North Fort Myers after Jacksonville. We keep our location up-to-date on RVillage.com.
