Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Okay Well this is a little late, but life was very busy when we came home.
I just want to thank Howard and Linda for an outstanding Rally and taking the time to put it on. You guys Rock!!! We learned a lot and it also reinforced some of the stuff we already knew.
If you are thinking about attending one of these then DO! Even if you are still on the fence about full-timing and/or do not have an RV yet. We don't. We had to bunk in a hotel, but it was all good and we did not feel we were left out on anything. Even if you already Full-time the Rally is still a nice place to come and hang out and also you can share with the newbie's your take on everything.
We are still in a holding pattern with our farm and rezoning it, but it still helped us with a lot of the choices we need to make and how to go about it.
We second that emotion, Wendy! Howard and Linda never fail to put on a superb rally for everyone no matter what stage in the RV lifestyle someone is in. Their rallies come HIGHLY recommended. It amazes me how people get our there and RV without going to an RV-Dreams rally. We have been to 2 rallies already, and are signed up for 2 more. It's never too early or late to learn about this lifestyle and all it entails. Thanks, Howard and Linda, for all of your hard work and dedication!!
Without a doubt, attending the rally was a wise decision for us. We have been pulling some form of RV since the 1980's (in vacation mode), and this rally proved to us that you really can teach an old dog new tricks! We learned a lot from not only Howard and Linda, but also from the other attendees. The open rig walk throughs were like a "real world" RV show. For instance, Jo and Craig shared a very important tip with everyone: order your rig without furniture, so you can buy the furniture you really want. Hopefully our fellow attendees were able to take away some tips from our rig. If you are on the fence about attending a future rally, take the chance and do it. Even if you have been RVing for a long time like us and think you already know everything you need to know, if you are open to learning, you will be amazed at how much you learn from Howard and Linda's rallies.
