Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
45% low last night. I walked around the house today and said to the wife I'm freezing with my insulated shirt on, so on with the furnace 73% sounds good to me. This is Michigan in September, what is going on, I wanted to leave before the cold hits. Anybody else with this problem?
Lonney

Yes indeed, we are having the same problem. Michigan gray sky, cold, gloomy. Feels like November here in the southwest corner! we are out of here 9/29, hope we beat the snow. Low if 38 on Saturday. It is usually in the mid 70's to 80 this time of year.
In the 40's at night down here in PA. 58 right now. A definite chill in the air. We are Heading south next week. Will be in GA by the end of the month so I hope it cools off there some too. I do not mind the cool......but I do not want to get stuck in the show! I heard it snowed in SD already.

It is going to be 39 degrees in Central KS tonight. I am from MI originally and my brother is still there so I get updates on the weather and generally, he is never happy. Sometimes I check the current weather information before calling him! In KS, we get freezing rain more than snow. One day in shorts and the next day digging out the winter coats!
Snow fell in Rapid City SD yesterday, where we are. Last night it got into the mid-20s here. Warming up today and the rest of our stay. We drove up to Spearfish Canyon and it was beautiful with snow on the hillsides and in the trees, but with blue sky. Hard to believe it was in the 80s on Monday.
I just talked to a guy here in a tent. He and his dog were comfortable, no problem with the snow. He is prepared.
We have an appointment in southern Michigan late in the month. I hope the cold weather doesn't come back until we head south.

In the Denver area, it was in the 30s last night and we had just a little bit of snow, nothing sticking. But I think the high was in the upper 40s. Heard on the radio Sheridan WY got a foot of snow. It's supposed to warm nicely this weekend, 80s, just in time for the Broncos to beat the Chiefs. Rest of the week looks to be nice, low 80s.
Can't wait til we can get on the road! 10 1/2 months! Yay!
Low was 52 atr around 5:00 AM; awoke to 63 degress at 8:00 AM. very cloudy and damp skies. Weather people say no rain; but this won't be the first time they are fooled.
Not even ready for the furnace yet just shut the AC off; but by mid-November heat will be needed. in the mean time I will save for the heat bill.

We woke up chilly yesterday morning, too, so we turned on the furnaces. We turned on both in the coach, but then turned the bedroom one off after we made sure it was working properly, and turned on the one in the house just to check it, too. All three furnaces worked fine, so now only one is actually on. Supposed to be up in the 60's today with lots of sun, so the furnace in the front of the coach shouldn't have to run much.
We'll take a little of the cooler weather, please!! Just outside of Sacramento CA and it's 103 today, we're on 30 AMP so only running one AC and Tazzy Kat is sprawled on the floor, not wanting any human touching.
