Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We finally met up with el Rojo and Pam. They arrived yesterday from their Alaska adventure at Fort Camping in Fort Langley (Vancouver, BC area) where we are staying. Having a great time!

What's it like there for wildlife activity? Is there any issues with bears? Sure would like to roam around those parts but don't need to be beatin' off a bear with a stick.
No bear problems here TRAILERKING. There is a Beware of Bear sign at the campground that's always up,but we have never seen one or heard of anyone seeing one in the 4 years of staying here. There are lots of bears in the mountains around Vancouver that occasionally visit but it's usually because people are leaving their garbage out too long or leaving fruit on trees. You just have to be able to run faster than whoever your with if you come across one.
Pam & Red, hope Diane & Steve gave you the lowdown on Quartzsite (? Sp), they're experts. Bet Red loved Steve's boat lift/carrier! Now you know why we had NO trouble tracking them down at Q last year. Just drove around 'till we saw that ginormous truck! Easy too spot even in huge dry camping areas.
Two great couples. Now don't forget to pass thru Cottonwood, AZ on your way South. We'll leave the light on.
Sherry

Hey if y'all (throwing in my "Texas speak" for Red's sake) are passing through Cottonwood, we need to plan another RV Dreamers get together! We can't wait to see Jesse and Sherry in late October, hoping to see Red & Pam, Steve & Dianne this winter as well.
Red - one of these days we will take you up on the very kind offer you made for a steak dinner when we were in the midst of dealing with all the family "stuff" that happens in the aftermath of losing a family member.
Sherry - just realized we'll be in your neck of the woods for Halloween, how fun will that be???
October 26th thru Nov. 8 for Dale & Ruth. October 1 & 2?for Bill & Linda for now; their plans change as fast as ours do!. Hope I'm not letting any cats out of the bag but any other cats passing thru are welcome!
Sherry
PS, we have Steak and owe you Pam & Red!
