Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Sedona

Yes, we are ready to leave here.  We are Janet and Stephen, (Tina is my cat) early middle agers just married 2 years this month.  We were steady for over 10 years before doing so and are pretty much used to each other.  My husband is being generous and letting me choose a class a by floor plan because if it don't feel like home, I  don't want it. So I have been spending a lot of time researching while he has been in our class c since june flyfishing. We bought that unit and left western ny years ago and spent 7 mo running in circles out west in a 27 footer.  we have 2 cats and a dog that are moving too so floor plan is what will keep us all sane. we plan on leasing our home and spending the winter on a lot we have here.  Stephen is very handy and we are leaning toward a DP. I imagine I will spend a lot of time alone while he and the dog are out fishing, to start I just plan on being thankful that I have the opportunity to travel, live in different places, and not have to work so hard.  finally take the time to appreciate where I am at, seems funny i can't do that in Sedona of all places, but living here is not like vacationing here. well its 1am and i've been on the computer almost all day again.  am eager for husband to get back so we can start looking at units, than i will know we are really doing this.

Welcome, Janet, Stephen and Tina (so glad you explained that! 😄).

We're neighbors, currently monthly in Rio Verde RV Park in Cottonwood waiting for remodeling our house to begin. We've been married 2+ years but we're steady 3 years before that so you have us beat. However we're well past middle agers so we have you there.

We have been full-timing for 15 months now and while it sounds like you have the RV thang down pat, feel free to contact us if we can answer any questions.
