Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Found a new RV service tech!!

After paying between $120 to $130 an hour for RV work, I have been thrilled to find through a fellow RVer a guy who used to work at an RV shop and now is out  on his own.

This guy not only has done a great job on all the installs he has done for me, but I have seen his work on my friends RV. He has done plumbing, electrical, and woodworking and everything has turned out beautiful.

Best of all his rate is $75 an hour, it has been great that I found him, and he has  been really fair and stands behind his work.

Roger - happy in So. Cal

A rare find indeed! I can tell that you realize how lucky you are to have found him. These days, it is so hard to find anyone that takes pride in their work and will stand behind what they have done.

I agree, this guy used a hole saw to install a compressor gauge in my dash and took careful steps to put tape and material to keep any pieces of aluminum from getting into any other devices on the dash. This guy is obsessed about keeping things neat and clean...but in a good way.

That's great. Thanks for sharing. Many of us travel thru SoCal at one time or another.

Great, I edited and added his email as he prefers that over phone calls.

I have also put this out because if he gets more business he can keep doing it, otherwise he will have to get a full time job and will stop this.
