Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Gonnabe all ready in process.

My wife and I live in the very southeastern part of okla. no stop light in town loving it after living in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver. We own a Montana and 3/4 ton super duty ford diesel. As far as in t he process of living full time wife dragging her feet but tired of cleaning large house I suggested selling and building a small metal house with a cover to park the 5th wheel with full hook up for family when they visit. We did spend part of last winter in South Tx. rained most of the time we were there wife didn't care for it much I loved it probably Az. this winter. Leaving the 26th this month for southwestern Colo. Caprock Canyon, Clayton Lake, Eagle Nest, Taos, Enron Lake, Pagosa Springs, Durango who knows after that. Question does anyone have info regarding a campground between Pagosa and Durango call lower Pradro Campgroud will we be able to get montana in there? Love the journal that that Howard and Linda put out lots of info and great reading.

Paul,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forum.  You will find this to be a good site for information and encouragement.

We have just done the opposite of your actions.  We moved from Oklahoma City to the Colorado Springs area after our recent retirement.  In our case, we have family up here and will be spending some time here with the hopes of traveling more after a bit of time in Colorado.

I tried to find that campground you spoke of between Durango and Pagosa Springs.  However, I'm currently on a pretty weak WiFi, so I'll have to do some more research when I get better service.  Do you remember if it was closer to one of the cities than the other, and was it a Forest Service campground.  That would help in trying to find it.

Terry

Hi,

We lived just south of Denver 7 miles east of Castle Rock little place called Franktown. Yes the campgroud is BLM land 18 miles west of Pagosa Springs.
