Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

First FT night not exactly what we planned

We had visions of the first night of fulltiming that had us sipping champagne and quietly watching the sunset. Just the two of us finally!!!

Well that didn't quite work out.  My son and grandson were visiting in the area and "stopped by" and before we knew it we were running around after a 15 month old and needing 3 champagne glasses. no

Now it is not that I do not love my son and I adore my 1st grandson but after a day of packing and cleaning the apartment, it was not the evening that we planned.

And to make matters worse, we were woken at 6:40 to change diapers, clean up and deliver my GS to his mom. (Dad left at 6 to head back home)

Well maybe we will call today - the 1st day!!!

That was just a preview to get you used to the idea that your plans are always subject to change at the last minute. This won't be the last time that plans and reality sometime crash into each other.
Laugh, love, and live the ever changing play called life.

There comes a time when every parent and child needs to know what NO means.
