Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
it's a 19' deep cabinet over the kitchen sink, on which we whack our heads on routinely, so it's being removed.
The poor guy has been at it for well over an hour, being super careful not to tear the wallpaper and saving all of the trim and finish work.
So far he's found it be screwed into the wall in 7 places, and we're beginning to think it may be glued on there too.
Stay tuned for my next post seeking matching wallpaper!
Btw, we are replacing the cabinet with one from the opposite wall which is only 7" deep. I'll then be able to hang curtains from the top of the wall over both windows on that side.
I am biting my nails but keeping sight of the goal, and when those projects are done he'll install the base cabs and countertop I bought to replace the dining table and chairs, which we never used.
DONE!!! and it looks wonderful, so much more open and airy in here. the room looks bigger and I'm really glad I had it done.
Next he'll remove the small cabinet overhead where the couch used to live, paint the raw oak base cabs I bought to replace the table and chairs, and fabricate a dish rack shelf for where that huge cabinet was. the dish rack and oak cabs will be painted, rather than try to match the natural maple original cabinets.
valances are all coming down and curtains are going up.
soon this carriage cameo will really feel more home-like.
There is an instructional thread in "Guidelines and Suggestions" on embedding photos from a photo sharing website, such as Photobucket.
Also, if you wish to show more than one photo, you can read the instructional thread in "Forum Tips" about putting in active links. That way, you could link to a whole "album" on the sharing site and let everyone see all the photos you have there.

I forget that many aren't "camera poor" like I am. To me, cell phone cameras are for quick pictures when I don't have one of my regular cameras with me, such as when we walk the RV park next door and I see some interesting "attachment" or accessory item sitting outside.
