Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have been a dreamer for a long time and now the dream is coming true, we moved in to our 5th wheel fulltime a little over 2 weeks ago. We are still in one spot while we finish up the retirement process but hope to be moving south sometime after Labor Day.
Its been a long road but it is happening. Some family still think we are crazy but our kids are excited for us and the grandkids want to know when they can have a sleep over..... still have some stuff to put away so sleep overs will have to wait a bit.
Thanks Howard and Linda for showing us it can be done no matter how big the bank account is or isn't, I am pretty sure if it weren't for you two this life style would still be a dream.
Yes Bill, we plan on getting out of the Olympia area as soon as we can, we don't want to spend another winter in the cold and rain....and that white stuff that falls from the sky every now and then.
We are looking at spending the winter in the Mesa area and then heading East in the spring and will decide what we want to do from there.
Congradulations, don't worry those that think you are crazy are either jealous or they don't know what wonderfull life you will be living and wish they could do the same thing.
