Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have been told and read that when you find that special RV that you will know it is the one.
Well being new to the RV world I was hoping that someone could give me some information a 2007 National Pacifica 40E.
I was told that the company is no longer in business, if so, how hard would it be to get repairs done, parts etc. Is there any know problems with this company and model?
Every part of that coach is available and service is readily available.......the company only put the parts together ....and pretty much all the companies that handle the drive train....and just about everything else are available
Of course there is no factory warranty because its used so nothing is missing from the puzzle....

Paul, "orphan brands" were a concern for us, too. In fact, that was one of the filters we used to narrow our choices. We did add the Bluebird Wanderlodge back in because of the great owners' forum. To my way of thinking, most of the systems in any RV are provided by the same manufacturers (Dometic and Norcold provide most of the refrigerators in RVs, no matter the brand), so you could go to those for any needed service. If the chassis was made by a defunct manufacturer there might be a problem IF you had a chassis problem. Those seem to be pretty rare, though. If a brand is no longer made, or has been through bankruptcy, I'd be more impressed if there was a super owners' forum, such as WOG.
We ended up buying a brand that is still in production simply because that happened to be the best coach we found. I'd suggest that you focus on high quality coaches that either are still in production OR have an outstanding support group. Remember that some brands used to be high quality coaches, but after a trip or two through bankruptcy many not be the same quality even though the nameplate is the same.
Another filter we used was that I had to be able to join the owners' forum prior to buying the coach. Join the owners' forum for any brand that has been through a change in ownership and see if there is any difference in quality before/after a certain time period.
