Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Looks good on the website, but oh man---expensive! That's been the only thing keeping us away. There was another in MA too, I'll post as soon as I remember the name. We loved it there and then it was nominated, I think in 2012 for campground of the year and the prices skyrocketed so we haven't been back (last time I called they quoted me $90.00 for WE hookup lakeside). So if expense isn't an object, it would be good---Pine something-can't remember.
Vermont has great campgrounds-we love Lake Champagne, in Randolph, ask for Pierre and just enjoy the basic, wonderful campground in the country but with modern, clean facilities and within driving distance of the capitol of Montpelier for the weekend farmer's market which is spectacular and all of the little places on all of the winding roads that we love. Don't forget to stop, also in Randolph at Neighborly Farms for their cheese, the sage is my favorite. Also they always let us in the barn to pet all of the calves and we watched them shear the sheep last time we were there.

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.
Randolph is also home to a beautiful veterans cemetery. The chapel is really pretty and the views are pure Vermont.
Both of my folks are there.
In fact, in nearby Barre there is a super interesting cemetery, where the stone cutters out do each other with their monuments to their family members and themselves.
For those who like stone work it's a fascinating place. Ask a local for directions.
