Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
For those of you who run a business from your RV that requires a full time desk, what does your set up look like? I really want a separate work area - not using my dining table, so most likely I would remove a sofa to put in a desk or table.

Cheryl - our RV came with a built in desk, hubby added a pullout keyboard tray for me and I quickly claimed the desk as "mine". We then got rid of the couch and bought a desk for him. I had previously posted pictures in the RV furniture thread.
Just saw this the other day and thought it was a great option with two chairs. Table comes all the way out so four chairs would fit too. They are designed to replace the dinette or sofa in an rv.
We have the Montana 3295RK, which is no longer in production but has a built in desk that is at the rear of the 5er. The RK in the model # designates 'rear kitchen' but it is on the curb side of the unit taking up half the width while the desk is the other half. The desk is wide enough for a laptop & printer side by side & 2 file size drawers under the right side. It suits us perfectly, at least in all the part-timing we have done. Full-timing is just around the corner for us. The only drawback we have had is the drawers may open in transit (or weren't closed properly) & when we stop & extend the slides the drawer may be behind trim of the slide.
Ask me how I know this...
If you Google search this model you should find a floor plan or I can produce that and photos. If I remember right, you are considering a motorhome and not a trailer but it would give you some ideas.
Good luck in your search.

I don't know where I've been, but I am here now! - D. Anderson
however no wine storage needed for us, lol.
I will bridge them with a top if we decide we need to make it into a desk, but for now I intend to line up three under the window in the slide where the couch was for storage. Pottery Barn saleslady told me yesterday that if I go to the store to order them and can show I am new to the area they will give me a 15% discount, and my forwarded mail will qualify me---that will pay for shipping--yippee!
