Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well, after months of preparation and talk the realtor was here last night and our house is officially listed for sale! Should be on MLS Monday morning!
That doesn't mean there isn't still work to do, but we have reached the point that the realtor said "it's time!".
We are so very excited, but it also brings a bit of uncertainty - what if no one likes our house? What if we don't get any offers? What if ...? the list could be endless!
OK - time to be positive - usually my strong suit - but can be so hard sometimes!
Have a good thought for us - and send that quick sale mojo! (Red and Jo & Ben!)
Such a huge step forward - seeing that For Sale sign makes it so real!! The timing is perfect and there's someone just around the corner who is looking for your exact house. Be ready to hit the road after a quick sale .
So awesome!!!! And so exciting. I know you have worked hard to get everything perfect and there will be a buyer for your house.....hoping for a quick sale!!!
Lots of luck selling. I know what you mean about 'what if no one likes it', well someone will. It may take time to find that right buyer, but there is someone out there that will fall in love with your house. You might be really surprised at how little time it will take. It is a sellers market right now, because people are really wanting change in their lives after 5 years of depressed economy. So, just make sure its clean, neat and presentable and it might go faster than you expected. Fast sales mojo headed your way!
Kelly, We are in the same club. Had an offer, but it fell through. Keep the positive thoughts going. As my wife tells me the glass is half full and getting "fuller".
Our house goes on the market in three weeks. So, if we trade Quick Sale Mojo, will it be a zero sum game? I don't care, good luck anyway and hoping for a quick sale.
My house listed last week. Got an offer the first day, but it was $30K too low. We made a counter offer and they just backed away rather than negotiate.
But got a really good offer today and we accepted it!!! So it looks like after being listed for just 1 week and 2 days, we sold it!!! They are very eager to close asap and they rent an apartment so closing on another property won't be an issue. Of course, I expect more hiccups in the form of the inspector finding things wrong, but hopefully this will really happen!!!
I trust it will go well for you too. Keep the mojo moving!!!

Hey Kelly.....here's all the mojo I got stored up heading your way. When your done with it in a couple of days send it to Vance and Maria so they can use it for a couple of days. Then send it to Debbie and Steve. We should send some the the Humphrey Duo as well.
Congrats on the offer Cheryl, it's just a process now, wishing you a smooth transition to the full time adventure.
Good luck Kelly & Bill - Here's wishing you a fast sell on your house!
Congratulations Cheryl - Wishing you a smooth sell and packing!
We just finished our yard sale weekend - got rid of all lot of stuff. most of the items I didn't think we could donate are gone and we just sold the last of the furniture! Purple Heart is scheduled for a pick up the week of closing so now to finish going through clothes and take a second look at what is going in the RV.
