Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

An old fulltimer new to the forum

Hi all!

I just discovered Howard & Linda's forum through RVillage and since I finally got to meet them and love them, couldn't resist joining in here!  I'm sure I already have "met" some of you at least virtually and look forward to meeting more.  You can never have too many RVer friends!

Welcome to the forum Malia. Your story/blog was one of the first I discovered when I started thinking about going full-time. I thought if you can do it, so can I. Thanks,

Thanks so much for the nice welcome, y'all!

biggaRView - I had to laugh at your forum name because I thought that's exactly why I bought my motorhome, even though I refused to even consider a big class A at first. Once I saw the view from that windshield, I was hooked and then just had to learn how to drive it! Keep planning and de-stuffing, take baby steps like this forum kind of research every day and I promise it can happen - I'm living proof!

Cindi - What you said meant a lot to me since that's one of the reasons I started writing my websites and articles - to encourage people exactly in that way. For sure if I can do it, you can! And your goal is getting closer and closer - I'm so happy for you!

Cheryl - Thanks so much for the compliment and for your nice email! You were the only one to tell me about the typo on my Ventures page and I was plenty embarassed since that's about my virtual assistance biz and that's not a good reference from myself! I'm so OCD about typos I could hardly believe it, but I guess that was a case of I read what I knew should be there instead of what I actually typed. Your own virtual assistance website says what's right - we are ones who need to "sweat the small stuff" so thanks again for that!

I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with members here!

Thanks Jo & Ben! I've met several traveling nurses in my years on the road, so have no doubt you can find work that way. And Lord knows we RVers need psychologists since so many people think we have lost our minds - LOL! Good luck with the house sale!

Thanks again to you, all! Jack & Danielle, I haven't been on RV.Net lately, but it's good to see you here, too!

And Howard, even though I deny being old in most ways (especially mentally), almost 14 years of fulltiming makes me an old RVer anyway. LOL! Hugs to you & Linda!
