Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Tank Locations?

I have a 2008 DRV Mobile Suites 38'.  Does anyone know how the tanks are situated?  I'm assuming that from front to back it's the Fresh Water Tank, followed by the Grey Water Tank, followed by the Black Water Tank.  I could be totally wrong>  I'm assuming that none of the tanks are stacked but again I could be wrong.

On our 2006 and I think all DRV Mobile and Elite Suites, you will find the black and gray water tanks directly behind the service doors in the storage bay. The black tank is the top tank located up high about 6" below the floor of the bathroom and the gray tank is located below the black tank, almost at the floor level of the storage bay, usually has a plywood deck on top of it with the water pump and converter on top of the plywood deck. The fresh water tank is located very low in the coach belly between the gray tank and the entry door to the coach. You cannot access or even see the fresh tank without removing part of the under belly cover. Hope this helps!

A little help with pictures of a DRV Suites under construction.  This first one shows the locations of the black (upper) and grey tanks.

Then this one show the fresh water tank that is located just behind the area where the black and grey tanks are located.  In this one, you can also see the drain line from the black tank going to the sewer outlet area.

Thanks so much for all of your help!  We finally did get everything thawed so we have running water again.  I will be so glad when Spring gets here!

Thanks Terry, that is very helpful. It's not at all what I would have expected based on our old Toy Hauler.
