Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

7 Years of Full Time, Still not retired

Hello all,

My name is Mike and my wife's is Barbara.  We have been doing this full time for about 7 years.  I still work full time as a semi truck driver for UPS.  My wife helps her son with his store in  Triangle Lake Or.  We have been to Quartzsite AZ and have property up near Seligman AZ.  Our goal is to retire soon and start traveling around to all the places that we only have seen from the cab of a semi.  It will be great to stop and really see all of this great country.  My wife is an artist and paints.  She also makes the most wonderful cut and curl candles which may help us in the future to pay for all the extras.  I am so glad to have found this site to share some of the wonders of the full time lifestyle.

As a fellow driver, I say, you don't get to see the places you want to, but you do get to see the exits. I am looking forward to slowing down and exploring the exits I've driven past.

Welcome Mike and Barb,

We used to live in Cottonwood and Jesse volunteered with Yavapai County Search & Rescue. He did several searches in the Seligman area. Beautiful there!

Hope you all join us soon!

Sherry
