Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Oklahoma - soon to be FT'ing (hopefully)

Hey all, I'm hoping to be full timing very soon. My wife and I are putting the house on the market next week and looking at models online and some in person. I've found tons of information on here thanks to the great posters and will be posting a separate thread shortly with some questions!

Welcome! Try to stay ahead with your planning in case the house sells quicker than you might expect. We are north of you in KS and I am surprised that houses are selling now even though this is usually when sales stagnant. So, you might get a pleasant surprise and be on the road sooner than you think.

From a fellow Midwesterner (grew up in Kansas), welcome to the FT'ing forum.

Roy,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  We are fellow Okies and are located in Oklahoma City, at least for the next several months.  Retirement seems to be planned for next July and a move to Colorado would then be in order.

Feel free to ask questions here as we all tend to learn from each other.  I don't know what you are planning for with regards to a type of RV, but I'm sure you will get lots of good information here.  Oklahoma City also has two RV shows each year; one usually around March and the other around September or October.

Good luck with the research and planning.

Terry

Hey all! I was just in Kansas for a wedding last month, hopped on the Harley cruised up by Garden City and came back home that evening. I'm hoping the house will sell soon we have done lots of updates to it and landscaping. Wow I didn't think I'd come across someone as close as okc, I was just up there Thursday. I'm thinking I want a toy hauler for the extra storage and whenever we go somewhere I can load up the motorcycle, it's my preferred method of transportation.been looking at the ones in Wichita Falls I think the website is wichitafallscentertx.com already found one of two semi permanent camp sites, one is on the air force base and the other is a newly owned place for less than 300 a month
