Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Veterans Day

Please take a few moments today to honor all the veterans who have or are serving our country. Many of them made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free.

Jim

I agree with all the sentiments above and I appreciate that folks still consider our vets.  All of my uncles served in the Navy in the Pacific during WWII.  I caught all kinds of h*ll (jokingly, of course) from them when I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1966.  When questioned, I answered that I'd rather have solid ground below me if anything went wrong.

However, I'd also like to thank the families of the veterans.  I think that many of them suffered more with all the uncertainty of how their loved ones were when deployed.  So, all you wives, sweethearts, parents, siblings and extended family of our veterans, here is my hearty....

Thanks for YOUR service as well!!!!

Terry

Thank you to all veterans their families and to those who never came back and those still serving. Also, thanks to all the loyal canine units.

I would also like to ditto what everyone has said and thank all veterans out there, past and present and especially the families of those who didn't make it home.  Many men on all sides of mine and my husbands family have served - a few didn't make it home.  Our goddaughter is currently serving as a Marine and our daughters boyfriend is in the Airforce.

Each and every veteran, military family and those currently serving have our deepest thanks and respect!  We salute you!

Thanks to all Veterans and the Canines from another Veteran. My day was great; Another friend and I went to O'Charleys for a free $9.99 meal; I had fish and shrimp; he had the sirloin steak. We then wasted the rest of the afternoon as I rode in his 1957 Chevy Pickup; this sure brought back some old memories. Came home and Yes; one week into standard time and dark at 5:00 PM.
