Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Only 31 degrees this morning in the Ozarks! We connected the heater hose (found one with a thermostat, so that will be convenient!) tank heaters on and heated inside overnight with electric fireplace. Was 69 when we woke up which is great sleeping temp for us. Hubby fired up furnace but I'm still snuggled in bed! ;)
Can hardly wait to be free and head to Florida at year-end!!!
It was in the twenties when we left CO on Wed headed for AZ.
It got down to 28 or so in Salina UT where we spent last night. Supposed to be in the 40s tonight in St George UT where we plan to stop today. Then even warmer in Las Vegas the next night. Should be in the 80s daytime and 50s nighttime when we get to Bouse AZ on Saturday.

Last week we were in Lakeport, CA, and one night it got down to 27 and another the low was 28. Too cold for us, but we will be back in Lakeport for Christmas with family.

It's 53 degrees at 1:00 PM and bright sunny skies and going down to 31 by early AM. Back in the lower 60's by Saturday. I guess being early November not too awfully cold yet!

We are having our first snow it started around 6 pm, suppose get down to 27 tonight. Hoping things don't freeze up. John filled both propane tanks, wrapped the water hose and left the grey tanks open before leaving town on Monday. Neighbors said to just leave the water running. We'll see!!

'08 Super Duty F-350 2WD DRW Lariat Crew Cab Long Bed,
We've been in sub-30* weather for the last 36 hours or so. Fireplace on, furnace on 66*, small electric heater on in bathroom (aimed at toliet) and electric blanket on the bed, currently occupied by 12 paws.
Jim, We too have had fireplace on, small electric heater as needed and furnace at 66 at night. We don't have an electric blanket, but a nice toasty comforter.
Dana, We have a heated hose under our insulated wrapped line so hopefully that will keep fresh water supply from freezing. There are tank heaters, so holding tanks should be okay.
Pieere, PLEASE keep the snow in your area!
Lucky Mike, Hey we are pointed South too! But no movement of the Aviator until year-end and I'm afraid it will be a lot colder here before we can pull out!
We are already re-thinking the promise to the kids to come "home" next year for Thanksgiving / Christmas. I think they need to come visit us ... wherever we will be!
Up to 65 here outside Louisville Ky, but heading for colder temps as the week moves on. Luckily nothing in the freezing for awhile it looks like. Wish our house would sell, but kinda hopin not until next spring now so we can head out in late Spring.
It's 34 degrees outside and its 3 in the afternoon!!!!!...........going to drop down to 15 tonite , think I will get Nikki's Blankets and her dog sled out..............(she likes to ride on it while I pull !!)

OMG Mike.. that is TOO cold. I moved from FL to Nashville last week and its getting down to 38 tonight...I put long johns on my shopping list!! From what I can guess Pierre is 20 miles from me...53 is parka weather for me!! lol. High of 46 on Sunday and rotflmao at u pulling Nikko on the sled!!
LOL, Tazzy Kat doesn't know what to do with an AZ winter so she has decided that every chance she gets to go outside she's going to roll in the warm desert sand / cactus particles / dirt. 2-3 times per day of brushing a long haired kitty who is going to be bald before we leave AZ!!
Rain is predicted for Friday, we're thinking it will be the first time we've seen rain since we escaped all the flooding in Colorado in mid-September, not missing the rain in Seattle at all and figure we can handle a day or two of rain in the desert. Will give us an excuse to stay inside, do some laundry, shopping, errands, etc. instead of hiking, biking, and watching the gorgeous sunsets.
Loving our electric fireplace, turn it on early AM and by the middle of the afternoon, we closing windows and turning on the AC for a few hours. Heating and AC on the same day?? Crazy, but we're adapting LIFE is GOOD!!
Looks Like a cold winter coming this year in TN. Woke up to an 8 degree; Yeah I said 8 degree wind chill this morning at 6:00 AM; actual temp was 21. It is nice and bright and clear as crystal water skies. This afternoon will be 36 with a w/c of 24. Back to the mid 20's in the AM and a high of 45 on Monday.

I believe I jinxed ourselves...
It hasn't been over 40* and rainy for 2 days now. We have freeze/sleet warnings here in New Braunfels Tx. for the next 48 hours.
NWESCAPES.... I am still trapped in the rain! But the good news is, the house in puyallup sold and retirement in January.. don't know how we are going to escape in January or if we have to wait for the snow to get off the passes.... I wanna pull out ASAP....
I just thought it was cold on Nov 7 at 31 degrees... a month later it was 10 degrees this morning! AND on Monday the low is to be 6 with a high of 25. At least we only have snow and cold. No nasty ice! Stay safe out there!
Frost in the morning yesterday in Quartzsite AZ, frost in the morning today in Hesperia CA and more coming the next few days. Reminds me of a friend who went out fulltiming thinking he only needed one pair of long pants, but multiple pairs of shorts. He learned the hard way it can get cold about anywhere in winter, including Florida.

No frost here in Southern California but chilly nights, down to 40, (sorry Mike and Jim and others). Fireplace set on low all day & night for our young lady occupying the living room. Highs in the 50's late this week but to warm up to mid 60's next week. Think the only place to be right now is Southern Florida!

We get 3" of snow tonite!!......but downtown is lighting the Christmas tree ,and the caroler's will be in the bandstand...shops will be open!!! and the hot chocolate is good....
Even when its cold...New England has something to make you enjoy the moments!!!!!!!...(just wish I didnt have to hang out for the skating on the river part!!)

We moved a little northeast near Houston TX. Big Mistake! High today was 39*, low?, we'll find out a little later tonight.
Today since 5am, we have had snow flurries, sleet, and rain. People around here are thinking they are gonna freeze to death or something, not supposed to warm up until Monday.
Then my winter tanning can resume!
Current temperature is 18, headed down to 3. Current wind chill is 9. Tuesday it is supposed to be up to 30 for a high. That's the first time it will get up that high.
I'm in Northwest Arkansas and it was 70 on Wed. today it never got over 24 and is supposed to be -2 tonight. Besides that we got freezing rain yesterday followed by 8" of snow overnight and today. Won't be above 30 until sometime next week and I'm supposed to be pulling out of here next week and my home is covered with ice and snow. As soon as it thaws enough that we can get out we're heading somewhere warmer. Just hope nothing freezes up over the next few days.

Woke up to a Temperature of 28 here missed the first ice; sleet storm. Have a W/C of 18; the wind is at a steady 13 MPH from the North. We have a chance at a second round coming this Saturday around 9pm.-1:00 am. Another round Sunday night and Monday; a lot colder and wetter this Season than last! PIEERE

Dave Buck, we are just north of you in SW MO. It sounds like weather is worse in your area, but we have single digit temps and negative windchills. Brrrrr!!!!!
-17 here in the Rocky Mountains earlier this week but temps have climbed up to the teens since then. Suppose to stay pretty cold the next couple of days.
Funny thing I have noticed more RVs on I-70 this winter then I have in past winters.
It is 35 degrees here at 1:20 PM; overcast; expecting some mix of frozen precip overnite...less than an inch which will close a lot of businesses and schools by morning. Heck it took over a foot of snow and drifting to stop us from school in the 60's-70's or ice storms in Northeast NY.
I have been mostly in the Camper with a stomach virus since Friday. Had the Pneumonia; shingles and flu vaccine. This is the first time in over 15 years that I've been this sick.

I thought you were supposed to go south in the winter. It's becoming abundantly obvious that many just can't give up winter. That is good news to me because I plan on rediscovering all four seasons once I am mobile.
