Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello to all..! After spending nearly 40 years as a wireless communications tech I am looking to travel and further my photography portfolio. I am a 62yo single retired male who is looking to do the full time rv thing in the not to distant future. I'm looking to get educated on the ins and outs of rving. I am a TOTAL novice and to be honest I would like a partner but that not withstanding I am going to do this company or not. I'll probably be primarily lurking for a while getting an education... Harry
This is a great place to get an education for sure!! We have learned a lot from all of the posts as well as the website....and of course all of the folks on this forum are very nice and have lots of great insight.
Welcome Harry, you've found the right place for an education on the RV lifestyle. It is a great mix of veterans and newbies and much can be learned just by following the specific forums on topics of interest to you. Questions are answered with enthusiasm and without judgement - it's just a great place.
I also am a solo. 53....(Not sure if the Dog Counts!).....Lots of great info here and a Family of friends that just keeps growing.
Solo by yourself is great once you get to really meet yourself and understand your capabilities....there are lots of other solo"s out here and it makes it nice to meet up and socialize and yet still gives you that peace and quite to go off by yourself and relax or get business done.
I've made alot of good friends here and got to spend time with a few during my journey .
Ask away .....use the search Bar or meet a few in the Chat room after 9Pm...EST and get ready for your adventure!!!!!!!

Welcome Harry, as others have said there is alot of knowledge to be learned from this forum. What I also like are the ideas or experiences of others that make you think about things you wouldn't have otherwise considered.
