Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from PA

Just joined and wanted to say hi.  I am single, retired and planning to be full-timing by next October.  Currently own a 23 foot class B, but cannot imagine full-time in such a small space.  Been doing my research and am leaning toward a GMC 3500 Van and a TT  (I really like the Open Range).  I need room for family in the summers when I plan to return to PA for the season to spend time with the grandkids and great grandkids.  I can stay in my PA campground that I go to as much as possible now for a great seasonal rate and only be an hour from the little ones.

I sew and do stained glass and would really like to take these with me on the road.  The van is to hold the supplies for these.  Really having trouble figuring out how to transport the glass successfully.  Is any body out there doing stained glass on the road?

Have started the house purge already.  Put the spare bedroom furniture on Craigs list yesterday and am already sorting through things for the yard sale in the spring.  The boxes can go in the spare bedroom as I finish pricing.  This has to be my last season of snow!  My first year I plan on wandering through the South East after a trip to MO to visit family I haven't seen in eons.

Welcome Cindi. I am from PA too and we are hoping to be full time by next summer if we can sell two houses. One is listed by nobody has looked at it yet. The other will be listed soon. We will move to florida at that time. Can't wait. I will have to work about 10 more years before we can travel full time. Where are you from. I am from northeast PA near the Poconos.

Hello and welcome from a fellow PA'er!  We aren't originally from PA but we have lived here (outside of Reading) for the past 11 years!  We hope to be full-timing by next summer - we have a house to sell and finances to work out.

Thank you for all the welcomes from everyone.
Jane and Scott, Bill and Kelly: I have lived in State College for 20 of the last 30 years with several relocations in the middle for my job. Most of my weekend camping is near Clearfield. I did take a leisurely 2-week wander around PA a few years ago and spent a night near Reading.
