Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just found this site and decided to join. My wife Kathi and I will start fulltiming in one week! We pick up our new to us 2008 Heartland Big Country Fifth Wheel next Friday. We are going straight to the Johnson Creek RV Resort in Ingram and will be there for the Winter.
We still have things to pack up and store to be out of our current residence by the end of November.
We cant wait for the adventure to begin! It is something we have both wanted to do so there was no convincing to be done. Kathi's parents full timed for 12 years. Her Mom has passed but her Dad is still in the area and is very supportive.
Hoping to make new friends here and share in this great journey of full timing!!
Welcome from another Texan Tom and Kathi. We are near y'all at the Inks Lake State park, where we are hosting for the winter. Good luck and have fun with your new trailer.

Welcome and wish you good luck in your new adventure. We should follow your step in or before sept 2015. For us Texas will be a destination, we are from Canada and winter time is a bit colder compare to Texas loll... I went to a conference in San Anotnio two years ago and wnt to take my wife there to sher her River Walk, the Fort Alamo Mission and several nice places I've seen.
Welcome!! Dale is a former Texan (and yes, there is such a thing, it's not a lifelong commitment, LOL, as I was told many times while we lived there for the first 11 years of our marriage). We're headed to TX for March & April, family visits, art shows and enjoying spring in Texas before it gets too hot when we'll be making our slow escape north!! I'm looking forward to seeing the blue bonnets for the first time in years!!
This is going to be a hectic week as we get things ready to go on Friday. Fortunatly we are not going to be actually moving too far so it will be much easier as we make final decisions on what goes
into the rig and what goes into storage and what goes into the dumpster!!
