Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're in an older (1999) MH on a Ford F53 chassis. When we level we use one of those little square bubble levels. We use the fridge floor coz the freezer floor isn't flat (side by side fridge freezer). The two rear jacks can be lowered independently, the front two, only as a pair.
Currently we're on a concrete pad, so we have nice firm footing. This helped me confirm that when we get the fridge level the rest of the coach isn't. I can tell because cabinet doors and the bathroom door drift in the direction of the passenger side, and my head always feels like it's lower than my feet when I'm in bed.
Is there a place, perhaps on the frame, that I can make sure the MH itself is level so I can attempt to level the fridge to match?
The final level test for us the bathroom door. If it doesn't move at any position I'm perfectly level. If I were you I would level the coach and see if the refrigerator cools satisfactory, if not I would adjust the angle of the frig to match the coach. Just my 2¢.
use a bubble level inside the fridge.........to level the outside of the coach place a 3' level on the rear bumper and level the rear....... take the level forward and place it against the 5th wheel mounting plate andlevel the front.......then take the level inside and place it center midship and level front to rear.
when you have completed this and it is square and level all the way around put some stick on levels on the back front and sides and you should be good to go in the future without having to go thru this all over again.
hope this helps!!

if its a motor home....use a 3 foot level and the same process.....when done and sure you are level , place a stick on level over the fridge front to rear....one on the left of the drivers area and one forward in the drivers area this should help..........my coach has an electronic bubble level that is connected to my levelers and sounds off and has levels positioned in the same spots
