Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have been lurking and learning on this site for almost a year. Joined a few months ago and finally getting around to introducing myself and my family! I am Ann, married to Max and we have a 16 yr old granddaughter we have raised since infancy, Bre. We will also be traveling with our furkids, 2 Corgis and a Chiuhuahua. Our house went on the market last week, so we are waiting, not one of my virtues! We have gotten rid of so much stuff that the house echos when you talk! No one has looked at it so far. The realtor said he has had a few people interested, but don't want to come out because of the rain! We have prayed for rain in SE Texas for a long time and it is now delaying the sale of my house! We will be static fulltimers for a while until Bre finishes school, but travel on her breaks. She wanted us to do this while she was still at home so she could go too. This site has given us so much inspiration and info. We hope to see all of you out on the road soon1
Sounds like you are well on your way. And what a great outlook Bre has at that age to want it for all of you and to share it also! I hope your home sale goes through quickly and painlessly and that you'll start your travels soon!
What a great plan you have. How much longer does Bre have in school? How great she can travel with you on breaks. This is the best forum for learning and friendly help!
Sherry

Thanks for the welcome! Bre is a Jr this year, so we have a little while left with her. She plans on going to the community college here in town for her first 2 years. Our traveling may be limited for awhile. But that's ok. We have a great State Park nearby and we plan on workamping there some.
