Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I am new to the forum and in the planning stages for early "retirement" and taking to the road. I have been an avid camper for most of my life and I love the outdoors.
My best friend and companion, a Great Pyrenees by the name of Henry, always accompanies me.
My name is Max (nickname for the name ONLY my mother is allowed to call me). I currently live in Central Indiana and am working towards full time rving with a departure date of late April 2014.
I don't yet own an RV but have rented them and taken some trips, so the RV hunt is officially on for me! Glad to have found this site!
Edit by moderator: Increased font size. Terry

Welcome Max retirement is never too early, me and my wife had planned to hit the road fulltime in 2018 and recently decided to go in sept 2015 and if I can it will be earlier. Good luck for the purchase of your new RV.
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. It is always good to have new folks that may bring new perspectives to comments and questions. After all, we all tend to learn from each other, even in our mistakes.
Now, not to complain, buy my vision isn't what it used to be, especially for reading, so could you increase the font size of your posts in the future? I increased your initial post just to make it easier for me, but it may also help a lot of the others as well. (I did notice that you had increased the size in your second post. Thanks.)
Glad to have you as part of the "family" and hopefully my request doesn't "strain" that family feeling.
Terry

Doesn't take long to no longer feel like a newbie here because everyone is so wonderful and welcoming. Enjoy the journey to the journey - wish we were as close as you are!!
We met a teacher out in West Texas once who was living in a tear-drop sized RV with his St. Bernard! He was happy with the set up, but we thought he could have used something with a little more space. Have fun looking for your perfect RV, and welcome to what we think is the "perfect" forum. Pat K
