Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
For every ones information, a new RV Park is open in Llano, Texas. The name is Riverway RV Park. http://www.riverwayrvpark.com/ It is all level sites, at the edge of town, and is ultra quite, with full hookups, and Wi-Fi . Monthly charges is reasonable , much less than she should be charging. If you see it you would give the Park a 10-10-10. There are 66 all level sites, clubhouse with new washer/dryers and a beautiful complete Kitchen. Something you don't see is a nice young lady owner at the switch. She is kind, helpful and wants customers to be comfortable . The winter rates are 325.00 plus electricity + 8 cents per KW You might try it if you are passing thru or stay for the winter..........................T.J.
We used to stay at the State park. Found a hummingbird's nest one time. The Ranger said it was very rare to find one in the "people" area. Lots of wild turkeys and deer. Very nice area.
How far is the park from the Llano vineyard??? We've enjoyed their Viviano mixed red at many Grapefest events! Can't buy it anywhere but the winery. This might be a good first road trip for us.
Are you referring to the Llano Estacado Winery?
If yes, that winery is actually in Slaton, TX, which is close to Lubbock, TX.
I only know this because I searched for wineries in "Llano, TX" and this one came up.
The closest winery to this park that I could find is Fall Creek Vineyars in Tow, TX, about 20 miles away.
